Pros:

The location couldn't be better, main Subway Station less the 5 Minutes walk, still off the main road & therefore nice and quiet.

Service & personnel excellent. Everybody spoke fluent English and was very friendly and polite.

Hotel bar has great specials on different cocktails every evening allowing you to wind down in a relaxing atmosphere after spending the whole day on your feet.

Room without flaws. Spacious, clean, air-con, everything you'd expect.

Cons:

Free high speed internet only available at 2 desktop pcs in the hotel bar. LAN or Wifi access was available in the room for €10 a day if I remember correctly. Which I find pretty pricey. But I must mention that the PCs were pretty much always free so we were able to use them in the evenings to look up details of attractions we wanted to visit the next day.

Breakfast in the hotel cost €20 per person which I find very overpriced.
I would strongly advise not to book the breakfast when booking the room as you can decided every morning if you want to have breakfast there.
We went to 'Dat Backhus' bakery just 50m down the road, which is a sit in cafe & offers different set breakfasts. The most expensive one, the Gourmet Breakfast for two costs you around €15 and provided us with so much food that we were able to make two sandwiches for lunch out of the rest.

Conclusion:
It's a great hotel, close to the city but in a quiet area.
The service is excellent and just the 'extras' like breakfast & the restaurant in the evening seem a bit pricey.
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider the hotel again when returning to Hamburg.

In a nutshell reallyngreat hotel. Great location about 10 minute walk to everything including Messi exhibition centre. Staff were brilliant, rooms great, good Internet reasonable price. Breakfast was a bit minty though at about 20 Euros but it was nice. Would certainly use again. Also 2 minutes round the corner is a small square with about 8 restaurants and bars in it. Try the Mexican restaurant really good food and service

Chic, medium sized hotel, with very friendly & quick service. Well located, within walking distance of many restaurants and various attractions. About a 15 minute drive from Hamburg airport. Clean & well decorated rooms.
