The room was big, overseeing a parking lot, but the more expensive ones would be overseeing the river.
The hotel are classic in a low key kinda way. Live pianist music on the night we spend there.
The morning buffet is a must! Everything imaginable from bacon, danish, pancakes, cereal etc. Would absolutely recommend the hotel. The only con is the distance to Hamburg city, you have to cross the tunnel and that easily takes an hour or more is push our. Also the area is industrial which doesn't make it ideal for taking a walk.

I'm using this hotel quite regularly. It's just perfect, if you need to go to Airbus. Clean rooms, quality beds, good bathroom and a good restaurant.
If you're planning a non business trip, the hotel might be not so a good choice if you want to go down town - even if the hotel has its own ferry terminal.

Nothing has changed since my last visit at the Rilano. I refer you to my previous review. However, I would say that is a positive thing: the good level of the restaurant (especially the breakfast) and the clean & adequate rooms make it the best hotel for Airbus business visitors. Staff is very courteous.

Only negative note: I had synthetic, lumpy pillows. I hate those - I am a feather pillow man. I didn't try to get them replaced, so don't know if they have different ones...
