this hotel is conviniently located 5 minutes walk from the city. the decor is simple, clean and funky lime green white and beige colour scheme. during December the Christmas markets fill the city center so it is the perfect hotel to explore these markets as well as the central malls, churches and points of interest. The rooms in das hotel are not huge so dont expend any high end luxury however they are perfectly suitable for 2 people. the only issue we had was with the beds which although we booked a double comfort was two single beds pushed together. they are very firm and not comfortable at all. we were only given 1 pillow each which in such a hard bed is simply not sufficient. i would recommend this hotel to friends and anyyone interested in staying in the center of hamburg.

Location - very central and it is possible to walk to most of the sites, we like walking that way you don't miss anything. We even walked back from the Reepabahn, approx half an hour.

Hotel - We had a standard double which was lovely, a very contemporary feel to it. I do have a few criticisms though, firstly there was no tea/coffee facilities, secondly the pillows were very flat so wise to ask for more and finally no mini fridge. The hotel is situated in a Turkish area so restaurants are plentiful if you like that cuisine, which we did. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times.

We specifically visited Hamburg for the Christmas markets, and they did not disappoint, and each one could be reached by walking.

All in all a good trip!

This hotel is very modern and comfortable hotel located close to U-bahn station, central station, shopping district and areas with good restaurants.

The rooms are also modern and very clean, but not very big. However quite sufficient for normal use. The bar / loungen are also modern and cosy, but the bar service could be a little better. The inhouse asian restaurant has some very nice food to reasonable prices.

The street (Steindamm) is somewhat "shabby" with sex cinemas and sexshops, ethnical restaurants, but it still seems quite safe. The parallel street (Lange Reihe) has a number of nice restaurants if you don't want to go the centre of Hamburg.

This is another of Last Minute's secret hotels located 10 minutes walk from the main Train and Underground Station. Its very easy to find from the Station and has been recently refurbished to a great standard. The Receptionist spoke perfect English and all staff were very polite and helpful. The Hotel itself is located within the Turkish community area so you will never be short of finding a good Kebab House late at night! My only complaints were no Tea or Coffee making facilities in the room and the shower curtain simply hung in and around the shower tray allowing the floor to flood with water.
