This hotel is a real jewel, the particular decoration is very attractive. In addition the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and spacious and its goof for resting.

The room and mattress were ample and comfortable. The bathroom was small but modern and clean. We slept wil the windows open and it was quiet all night. The area is a university town, 1-2 blocks away from the Dammtor train station (hbf). Suggest to try across the street in a basement cafe: the latte and bear claw (this "u" shaped marzipan filled piece of joy). Also, Broderson's for dinner is a must and very economical. Enjoy!

My nephew and I stayed here. The reception is on the second floor - we stayed on the ground. the room was vast and they failed to note we had asked for twin beds (!). Strangely despite all that space, the bathroom was very small. Other rooms looked even bigger. Great breakfast and potentially very good location - unless you are there on a weekend when the Dammtor station is being renovated. This is in a restaurant desert and the restaurant we were recommended by the hotel had the worst service I have ever encountered. Two hours from arrival to our only course being served.

I stayed there several times already. It is located in an old mansion close to Dammtor railway station and the university. The single room they gave me for my first stay was incredibly tiny (its bathromm was larger than the room itself). Since then, I'm paying app. 15 € extra for single use of a double room, which makes it still cheaper than almost all other options closeby. Rooms are individually designed. Windows to the street don't really keep all the noise out. The hotel is not full service - the reception closes at 10 pm - but drinks are available. Breakfast is more than decent for the price. An Espresso machine would be nice, they only offer filtered coffee.WLAN is very good, flat screen TV as well.
