“smallest. room. ever.”
This hotel is similar to staying in a closest. I don't expect large rooms, especially in Europe, but I do expect them to be somewhat the same size as the pictures on the website. If I was traveling with anything larger than a carry-on size suitcase, there wouldn't be any room to put it in the room. The television in the room looks like it belongs in a college dorm room and is on this tiny little stand that you can't see it while lying down. You'd also think they'd supply the bed with a duvet that actually fits it... I guess guests are supposed to freeze at night?
The bathroom: looks like something from out of a horror movie. The shower won't stop dripping and the toilet flushes constantly on its own.
Also, you are "not allowed" to take your key with you when leaving this hotel! You pay for the use of the room and you (assumingly) leave your belongings in there, but you are not allowed the "privilege" of taking the key with you!! It's kind of like staying in a prison... And one warning - if you do take your key with you, you will be berated by the front desk and treated like a child. I'm so glad I'm paying for this experience...
Bottom line: free breakfast and wireless internet are nice, but you can get a cheap breakfast almost anywhere in this city. If you like paying to stay in prisons, closets, and generally being treated like a child, then this is the place for you!! Otherwise, look elsewhere.
