Stayed here one night for a business meeting. Good communication before i got there by email. They do provide complimentary transfer from Hamburgh airport but this was not available- which was disappointing. This is the only thing they need to improve.
You can take the train and then the bus (well explained on their website) but i wouldnt recommend this option if you have large luggage particularly on the bus. Best option is to take a taxi- cost me 25 Euros and takes about 30 mins.
The hotel is set in a lovely golf course but is a long way from everything. If you have car, it is perfect. To get to hamburgh is quite easy once you know how. You need to take the 276 or 176 bus from outside the hotel to Poppenbuttel and take the train all the way into Hamburgh. Give yourself an hour or so. Same for return but make sure you are on the last 3 cars on the train on the S1 line or you will end up at the airport and then take the bus again to Treudelberg stop. It is easier than it sounds and all the stops are announced on the screen both on the buses and trains so you know when to get off.
Rooms are all very modern and well appointed. No free wifi but there is a computer at the main desk for use with a printer so that you can do online check for your flights etc.
Breakfast was ok- continental with some cooked stuff but not a fully cooked breakfast. Dinner however was excellent with a lovely bottle of rioja. Not cheap but excellent.
Overall nice hotel with all the usual amenities. Well out of hamburgh but not really an issue for me on this trip. They do need to sort the complimentary transfer though.
