Best Western is not luxury class chain for sure, but I expected more from such well-known brand. Furniture and TV was rather old and worn, though bathroom was fresh and modern. Free wifi is a plus, but did not work stable in my room (the last on the floor). Regarding transport availability – you have a choice of bus and U-bahn, they have car parking as well. Never ate at the restaurant, but it looked nice. There are restaurants/café outside also.

Directly opposite Rauhes Haus underground station. Three stops from Berliner Tor rail interchange, four from Hauptbanhof. Handy for both airport and city centre. There is a supermarket and pub/restaurant nearby. Parking available for drivers.

Room smelt of smoke. I do not think they have a no smoking policy. Kettle provided for making drinks if you ask for one. Fine big room.

Good friendly bar.

We were happy to have chosen this hotel for our 3-night stay in Hamburg. It was everything we needed - it was clean, comfortable, and roomy! Would definitely stay there again!

My wife booked the hotel to accompany my christmas present, a visit at the "Miniaturwunderland". The room itself as well as the bathroom were clean, the decor a bit outdated. The beds are OK but we had two seperated matresses.

We stayed in December and it was freezing outside (about -2° C) therefore are nice warm room is good but this one was unfortunately totaly overheated. The radiator was turned off and the front desk just told us that probably "the maid left on the radiator the whole day" and we should just open the window. This cooled down the room for a while but as soon as the window was closed it got warm again - it's still a mistery how that was possible.

All in all the room was OK for one night, the short distance to the center of hamburg by subway which is located only a few feet away paired with the low price is definitley a plus.
