We paid about £90 for one night whilst visiting the superb Christmas market.
Three adults £30 each with breakfast included in the middle of Hamburg cannot be faulted.
The room was large enough clean with a high ceiling. U bahn and the main rail station 2 mins walk.
We loved the Hotel and WILL return.

the hotel is situated at a few minutes walk of the central train station. If you have a good condition Hamburg can be discovered on foot. We stayed 2 nights in a quiet and spacious triple room with high ceiling. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was ok. At the hauptbahnhof you can eat very cheaply at the wanderhalle: fish, meat, authentic chinese, indonesian... all prepared while waiting.

I stayed at this hotel for business reasons. In general it was OK (but nothing more than that)
My room (a single room) was rather small, the bed was short and so where the blankets. Staff was most of the time friendly, but not always. I paid 276 Euros for 2 nights inclusive breakfast, it is my personal opinion that this is a bit too much compared to the quality you get. Positive about the hotel are its location (many good restaurants nearby) and the breakfast quality. I believe it is a pity that the hotel has no restaurant available in the evening.

Nice hotel. Good value. Great location near the main train station. Nice staff, but not too knowledgeable - how could the front desk attendant not know anything about renting small boats to go on the two main lakes in Hamburg? The rooms were good given the price with pillows that were very comfortable. Good breakfast. Only negative is that because the hotel is near the main train station, you have a reasonable assortment of drug addicts and other homeless people that hang around outside the hotel.
