Stayed here recently for a 3 night business trip in Hamburg. The hotel is very nice, rooms are modern and clean and provide everything you need. Breakfast was very nice, although not cheap at 14 Euro. The hotel staff are professional and polite, but maybe could have been a little friendlier. A code is provided for free internet access throughout your stay.
The only obvious downside is the location away from the centre of Hamburg, if you do not have a car with you this is not the most convenient place to stay. There are bus stops right outside the hotel, and the bus will take you to one of the nearby train stations, but the stations are not close enough to walk to. Another disadvantage of the Best Western's location is that there are no other eating and drinking alternatives to the hotel within walking distance that I saw, apart from a Burger King (5 to 10 minutes walk away). There is also a Lidl close by. The only positive of the location is the proximity to the airport, it is just about possible to walk it (25-30 minutes), but no fun if you are carrying luggage, so I would recommend getting a taxi.
So to summarise, if you are coming to Hamburg with a car, or you specifically wish to stay in this part of the city, then the Best Western is a good choice and I would definitely recommend it, but not as a base for Central Hamburg.
