A stuffy room with no air circulation required opening windows. The sound of car engines revving through their gearboxes and rowdy, cigarette puffing restaurant patrons below kept us from sleep each night until about 2 AM. Delivery trucks and traffic start up again around 5 AM. Be sure to get a room on the back side.
Location is at the far end of the Potsdam trolley line so plan to spend many hours transferring and traveling to reach your destination using that free pass.
Grey, thin towels were a turn-off.
If booking in advance, be sure to confirm whether your rate includes breakfast. There is an indoor shopping mall with many food options nearby but it is hidden from view behind the building. Worth seeking out.
Staff was unsympathetic to our request to change rooms - probably because we had paid in advance.
Free parking was a plus

The location was a bit far way from thew centre (well almost at the edge of potsdam.) its situated in a housing flats area with a couple of shops nearby. i didnt expect much when i first saw it, but after that was pleasantly surprised. we booked a triple room (i think) and it was huge! the bathroom was nice and they provided a chair which you can sit on while you shower:) the breakfast was quite good for the price. the keycard to your room could also be used as a ticket for the public transport in potsdam and berlin which was a big plus point for me. the staff were in general nice & friendly. i would definitely stay here if i ever visit Potsdam again
