The breakfast (included in my package - price really ok) is the best thing: a good variety with a good quality. The room was nice, not really fantastic, but ok.
The staff was kind and available.
The location is good, maybe a little bit far from Potsdam' station.

We had a perfect stay of 6 nights at a '3 for 2' rate - which I negotiated down to booking.com rates by booking d1rect with the hotel . OK, so it was a room onto the street, but with double glazing and fully functioing air con no disturbances.

Breakfast is amazing with all options, but evening meals expensive - much better value in several places nearby. Only 1 minor drawback - as with all continental hotels, no hot drinks facility in the rooms.

Stayed for two nights and found the overall quality of this hotel to be very high and very good value. Room on the top floor was a little small but well equipped to a high standard.
Would have liked a bath but made do with the shower in the well presented bathroom.
The only other small detail would be the slight shortage in wardrobe space. Extra pillows requested and these were duly waiting on our return.
Anyhow, nice view and friendly staff. Also noted that it was nice to be sharing the hotel with a very well known rock legend who followed us in one night after giving a great performance at the Nikolaisaal concert hall !!!

We wished to visit Tempelhof airport before it closes,and a German friend suggested Potsdam as an interesting city,and this hotel as one he had used before.
It has a convenient central location,altough car parking might be a bit stressful as it is on a busy road junction.The air conditioned room was not ,however ,unduly affected by traffic noise.The whole building is recently refurbished and every detail is aesthetically and functionally perfect.The room is not of ostentatious size but perfectly comfortable.
The staff speak good English and are generally helpful.I looked hot on arrival ,and a glass of water appeared at once.Breakfast has a wide range of choices in a hot and cold buffet,not a "continental " breakfast.i did not use the restaurant in the evening,as there are so many choices elsewhere.
