A smart and clean hotel, with an above average breakfast buffett. However, it lacked character. There were two elements that I was not happy with [1] the hotel wi-fi was terrible and therefore made it impossible to work, [2] I had to order extra pillows as the two provided were incredibly uncomfortable. So, in summary, functional and forgettable, but it would certainly suffice for a night or two if you need a clean and safe place to stay

The Dorint Sanssouci Berlin-Potsdam is a well appointed conference hotel. The rooms are spacious, well appointed as well as being light and airy. The TV was a bit on the old side though. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and well presented. The hotel is ideal for conferences. Although it's a good walk into the Altstadt, Sanssouci is nearby.

On arrival I was put in a smoking room (there is no smoking ban in Germany) so people smoke in hotel rooms and it shows/smells. I don't smoke. So I moved. Decent sized bathroom with decent enough products (body lotion but no conditioner). Good storage. No free wifi in the hotel. The fitness room is a few treadmills and steppers but nothing else - no weights or machines. The pool is around 12m in length so you could do laps. The massage therapists are brilliant. I went in with some serious knots and over the course of two days most of them came out. Breakfast is also great - very lavish and lots of variety. Staff are courteous and helpful.
