Our family spent 2 nights in top floor apartment. BB cost 99euro. Hotel is located very conveniently for train station or Bremen centre both less than 10 min away. Several eating and drinking places are right on the doorstep. Breakfast is served in a small cafe next door. The room has 4 single beds, wardrobe, small table with chairs and a kitchenette area with fridge, free coffee, tea and sparkling water. It is clean with all one may need thought of. Free internet was working but only for initial 15 or so minutes, not managed to find out why.
THE HOTEL HAS NO LIFT. If you have heavy luggage, are infirm or just hate stairs you have been warned! We did curse more than once after several trips up and down 4 flights of stairs loaded with suitcases (not a city break but 2 week holiday's worth). It is a small budget hotel though so they are forgiven :-)

I was in Bremen last week to see my son who works for an airline and did not book an hotel in advance but I was extremely lucky to find this little gem ( it is a 2 star hotel ) just walking along the street. The hotel is in one of the best areas of the city center and few blocks to/fro the main station. The hotel has no elevator which was ok for me. I worked in the hotel industry for almost 37 years and I have been impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and the single with bathroom I was given. There was a complimentary drink with a nice note ( mineral water ) and that was almost appreciated. I did not have to ask for anything missing in the room & bathroom. Unfortunately I had to stay only one night, but I will certainly return. The husband/wife who run the hotel are indeed very kind and so are the 2 chambermaids ( maybe part of the family ). I speak German but it is easier for me to write this review in English. I have promised Mr and Mrs Speckert I would post a nice comment in internet and they surely deserve a positive review.

Liked — central location, claenliness, friendly owners and staff, compliemntary drink, cable TV, good pressure of hot water & self adjustable heating
