The hotel is fairly standard. Nothing ordinary, although the rooms are large. If one expects designer decorated rooms, just forget it... The interior in our room was quite old.
Breakfast was small. There was only a small selecton of two hams and one sausage. The scrambled eggs and bacon was already eaten (at 8 in the morning) and was not to be refilled according to staff.
Late checkouts not allowed.

We arrived fairly late evening after a long drive to a helpful reception, parked the car in the provided spaces at the back for free.

What we thought was a cheapish hotel on the edge of town was in fact more like a set of apartments. We had two large bedrooms, lounge and dining area, big bathroom and even a small terrace! There was also a small kitchen (behind a locked door - assume this was extra cost if required). All very clean and tidy.

We didn't get a chance to venture into Bremen as heading off again early the next day so hard to say how close to town it is, but the local area was a little devoid of restaurants and take-aways.

Overall a very pleasant experience and brillian value for money.

We paid less for a suite at the Hanse Komfort Hotel than we would have for similar accomodations in the heart of the town, however, we were able to get downtown in minutes. The Hanse Komfort Hotel is conveniently located on the #10 and #2 trolley lines that wisk you into downtown Historic Bremen in about 10 minutes. We had a Junior Suite with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, living room and dining area (there was a kitchen, as well, but it was locked). The suite was comfortable and clean. It was all that we expected and more!
