I've found the Maritim Bremen to be comfortable and enjoyable each time I've stayed here. It's never fun when your luggage gets lost, and the hotel staff did a great job accommodating a very tired, frustrated traveller late at night.

Superior room has been excellent for small business meetings.

Also found the food in the hotel dining room to be outstanding during my latest stay. Understand there's a new chef.

I stayed here for two nights while attending a conference in the conference centre. The hotel is really comfortable and well appointed. Rooms have a tea/coffee facilities and a minibar. The rooms and bath room were clean and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent and has a lot of selection. The staff were really helpful and when asked gave a late check out without any problem.

For me the only draw back was the gym facilities. They only had three machines, a runner, x trainer and bike. The runner and bike did not work at the time and all three machines were located next to the swimming pool, so the environment was not conducive of "healthy training", however, they have a great sauna and should be experienced.

The hotel is ideally located and just 20 min taxi from the airport (15euro) and 5 min walk from the main station. The main square is really nice to look around and following this trip I may come back for a weekend break with the “boss” to see more of it.

I would stay at the hotel again.

This is a nice hotel. Having not stayed in Europe before I was really unsure what to expect. I found this to be a nice clean hotel. It is precisely what I imagine European styling to be. This is comparable to a nice Marriott, or Raddisson in the States. The best part for me was that it's in easy walking distance to the main train station, and city center so you can easily be where you want to be.

I got very ill for about 3 days and needed to got to a pharmacy on Sunday no less. (This is very difficult as everything is closed on Sundays). The hotel staff found a pharmacy that was open and called a cab for me. This among other things I found the hotel staff to be excellent for a non-German speaking visitor.
