I was in Bremen overnight for a short stop to the airport. Friendly staff, clean hotel, very near the tram to go to the airport, good value for money.

we stayed three nights and found this hotel to be very good friendly helpful staff, near to the train and tram stations we had a room at the front whitch was large and warm there was no noise from the trains even though we where close would stay here again 10mins walk in to shops even with my steel knee

I regularly stay at this hotel as I find it very convenient for the city, railway station, direct tram to the airport as well as a very kind and friendly staff with the choice at breakfast being an added bonus.

We stayed at the Residence hotel for one night. The hotel is split over two old mansions and we got a nice room in the annex, even with a small balcony. It feels more like staying in someones house than in a hotel, however the room was big and had also a nice bathroom. Beds were a bit hard, but otherwise we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast next morning was in the main building and we were really impressed as this was exceptional for such a small hotel (more 4-star quality).
We didn't make use of the sauna facilities.
Location is convenient (5min from main railway station and about 20min walk to city center).
