One of My Favourite hotels. I've been here over 20 times now and thought I should write a review. Best breakfast, great rooms, I love the spa, afternoon tea is good as well. They made me packed lunches to take on my trip with me and sourced me ibuprofen for a headache. Truly one of the best hotels I know of. Almost all the staff were greeting me by name after only 5 stays.

The Park Hotel is truly in the park, and as such is quite special, but it is near the city center, and accessible on foot or by streetcar. The accommodations vary, but are generally quite nice. The restaurant and bar are very nice, and there is also a wellness spa. I think some folks might find it a bit stuffy, but it is top class.

The other reason Bremen is special is that it is my family's hometown area, and so I'm attracted to it, and have been for over 50 years. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times, as have other family members.

We are a very well travelled family but the consensus after our Germany trip this summer was that the Park Hotel in Bremen is one of the very nicest we have ever experienced. The room (a deluxe double) was almost ridiculously large with a gorgeous, sunny view of the lake. The common areas of the hotel were opulent and meticulously maintained. The whole place had the feel of "old Europe" but the staff were friendly, helpful and never stuffy. The setting was wonderful....in the middle of a large park but an easy walk or cycle (you can rent bikes for a small charge) from the centre. Bremen also turned out to be a lovely, really interesting place. Love to go back.

Without doubt the food, rooms and service here are clearly all 5 stars.
Fabulous wellness and gym centre with spas, saunas, steam rooms and used by AFC Bremen stars.
The breakfast option is the best I have seen with foods of all kinds.
Ample parking, lake views, twice a day room makeup. Fresh linen and towels daily if not declined.
However, food and drinks are expensive eg.Tea £5 a person for 4 (£20)
Be careful as some rooms are very smokey. Only opt for non smoking rooms.
No smoking in public areas though in Germany.
