5-star hotel that has earned its stars for a reason. Firstly, arriving: from Bremen airport to hotel it took 18 minutes. I mean, after we left airport building and were inside Swissotel. Secondly, service at reception, at breakfast and at spa was really prompt and friendly. We felt like we were really welcome. Thirdly, hotel is centrally, yet peacefully located. Oldtown pedestrian streets are one minute away, shops and restaurants around are plenty. Fourthly, I've rarely seen so thoroughly clean rooms (especially bathrooms) in which every stain has been removed.
Complimentary sauna was a nice bonus.
Furthermore, I really, really enjoyed the breakfast here.

A very clean and comfortable hotel 2 minutes walk from the city centre. Excellent value for money. Even Alice Cooper was staying there for his Bremen gig.

Comfortable, stylish and spacious rooms. Friendly and efficient staff and excellent breakfast. Bar was a bit expensive but there are a number of alternatives near to the hotel. If driving you have to park in a nearby multi-storey car park . Just park on the kerb outside and drop your luggage off first. Easy walk to city centre. Only real negative was being woken up by trams even with the windows shut. Try to get a room away from the street.

What a wonderful hotel, with attentive staff and a good attitude. The location is ideal, the rooms are comfortable (with a place to sit, other than the bed), and the amenities are what you'd expect at a "business" (or leisure) hotel. I wandered around the city and didn't see a hotel I preferred I had booked. The room rate was fair and the ambiance wonderful -- a bit of class, but simple and understated. The hotel in near the Bahnhof and right on the tram line (15 minutes from the airport). To my taste, it is a perfect choice if you are staying in Bremen or have business in Bremerhaven (where the hotel pickings are slim to nonexistent).
