Good location, close to public transportation services. Surranded with cafes, bars and shopping facilities. Easy to find. Clean and spacy room, for the price fantastic breakfast. Quality and quantity. Kind and flexible staff. Minus: no elevator and a bit noisy beacuse of thin walls. 9 point out of 10 overall.

Great location, direct bus (nr.109) from Tegel airport, about 20 min. Just couple minutes till shopping street and you don't have to go to Zoo or other large shopping malls, all famous brands all around this hotel. Also good connection to Zoo (bus nr.34 and 49).
Staff is very friendly, breakfast- simply, but enough for good day start.
A bit noisy, in summer time could be a problem if window is open.

My partner and I booked this hotel on an English website where it said they were English speaking, but this turned out that this was not the case. This was fine, but the day before we left we asked the owner if he spoke English and he said yes. We then explained that we had an over night train the next night and were wondering if we could have a late cheack out. He checked his computer and his sheets and said that it wasn't a problem.
We returned to the hotel the following afternoon to find that all of our stuff had been packed and put in the common room of the hotel and left there. The woman that was working explained to us that the owner did not know what we were asking him and they needed that room for people that were coming that afternoon. Many of our things had been damaged while they shoved everything into our bags, and there was no sympathy for any of it.
We both felt that because we did not speak German that we were not welcome at the Hotel. Both the owner and his wife are miserable and refuse to help. I would nto recommend this hotel to an English travellers.
