This was our first time in an apartment hotel and we were very impressed. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with excellent quality furnishings, very spacious and exceptionally well equipped and clean, almost tempting enough to stay in every night! The only gripe was the curtains, which didn't quite fit the full width of the windows in the bedroom or living area.

We didn't manage to find time to visit the pool or sauna but did spend time in the bar enjoying the happy hour cocktails before we ventured out for dinner. Bar staff were friendly and attentive and the cocktails generously sized. The decor and fittings throughout were well maintained and modern and if back in Berlin wewould definitely try and stay here again or in the other Berlin branch. Well worth a look.

There is a decent supermarket Kaisers round the corner on Leipziger St and you're within 10 minutes walk of Stadtmitte and Hausvogteiplatz U-Bahn stations so not far from most attractions - although we walked everywhere easily - and it's around 20minutes by taxi (EURO20) to/from Tegel Airport.

I love renting a car in Germany. German autobahn is one of my passion. That being said, you need a car in order to be comfortable in a large city such as Berlin. Adina is my favorite hotel in Germany. I have stayed at its Berlin, Frankfurt and Hamburg locations with my family of 5. Extremely clean, tastefully appointed and large for European standard. The car park under the building is a bit small and may require few attemps to get your car out but it is expected. Its location might be a challenge if you have to walk everywhere as it is not really that close to main attractions. But then again, Berlin is vast and there really isn't any PERFECT location for hotel. The front office people are somewhat mechanical but efficient. The rooms are very comfortable with a small kitchen. Refrigerator and washer and dryer. Having 3 kids, Adina offers the most bang for the buck! Cant wait to return.

We stayed here in December 2011 while visiting the Christmas markets. It was excellent. We were really impressed with the size of the room, there was a king size bed, a nice lounge area away from the bedroom and then a little kitchenette which had everything we needed. The place was clean and very quiet. We used the pool and sauna which were both nice, the pool is narrow so choose your time wisely many more than 4 people and it would be crowded. The location was great too, easy walking distance from many sights and lots of good restaurants. We took the train from Schoenefeld Airport to Alexanderplatz and just walked which isn't too far if you're travelling light! (or take a metro a bit closer). We would definitely stay here again and at other Adina Apartment hotels.

This is my second experience staying in Adina hotel in Berlin. The first was with Adina Haupbanorf.

I had a one bedroom apartment facing the courtyard. It was very quiet. The unit was spacious and modern, with Australian aboriginal paintings on the walls. I couldn't fault any of the facilities, except the internet access which continued to be a problem for me and could be a deal breaker in my next visit to Berlin. The charges of 15 euro a day is considered on the high side at a time when most hotels are offering free internet acess. You would expect fast download speed when you had been asked to pay for the service, but both the wifi and cable speed were miserably slow, the download speed was typically around 1 KB/S, hardly enough to do any video viewing.

I ate a couple of times in the restaurant. The food was ok, but the serving portion was small leaving me feeling hungry after a 3 course dinner. I have later discovered and ate in a Chinese restaurant in the neighbourhood with reasonable price and good food.

Having said that, if you are just after a clean, quiet room to close your eyes in a central location, and don't use the internet much, then this is your hotel.
