This is a great spot to stay in Berlin. The HSH was our first experience staying in an apartment style hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. Given the size of Berlin, the hotel is well located. The metro stop is around the corner and there is a tram stop right outside the hotel door. It's also a 5 minute walk to the Scheunenviertel neighborhood of Mitte, which is loaded with restaurants, bars, galleries and funky shops. The hotel itself was very clean and the room was big, with a separate bedroom, large kitchen/living room and a solarium overlooking Invalidenstr. The staff were friendly and helpful. We opted not to get breakfast included because we had a kitchen, and there is grocery store around the corner. Our only complaint was that the rooms didn't have air conditioning (when we visited, we had several days in the 30s). Expect a bit of noise if you are on the street side because of the tram. Nonetheless, this place offers excellent value and given all positive things about it, when we go back to Berlin, we'll stay here again.

Just returned from our trip to Europe. The rooms here are very large, and clean. Bathrooms very large as well. U-Bahn stop is right around the corner to very easy to get to. Staff very friendly and breakfast was great. Another nice perk is they a laundy room in the basement which is free

This place was brilliant. We stayed for 4 nights at this complex. The room was huge, with a kitchenette, enclosed verandah, an actual queen size bed, lounge, heaps of cupboards and hanging space and desk and chair. About 15 minutes walk from the Berlin Bahnhof and close to everything. Tram was very close to the hotel too. Breakfast was a good combination of the traditional German fare with a few extras.
On the last morning we were there, they restaurant opened up a little bit earlier to accomodate our early flight out.
Staff in the restaurant and on the front desk were always happy and helpful.

We had a great long-weekend at HSH Hotel Mitte. We were very pleased to find a well-equipped kitchen where we could prepare meals for the children and ourselves. Small supermarked just around the corner, several cafes and restaurants nearby. The U-bahn was a minutes walk from the hotel, perfect way to travel around the city. The breakfast-buffet was very good, and the staff helpful. We enjoyed both Berlin and the hotel, and will definitly return to both!
