A perfect modern one bedroom apartment wth all the comforts of a real home. Tastefully furnished, clean and modern. Fully stocked kitchen with all utencils, pots, pans, iron, dishwasher, waching machine, coffee machine etc. Plenty of bedding and towels and toilettries and even basic cooking ingredients like oil, salt and sugar. There is a supermarket nearby if you want to cook at home and there are a few little places in the neighbourhood to try for dinner (we particularly liked the Vietnamese which was recommended by the guesthouse). Its in a lovely residential part of the city and the metro is a short 5 minute walk away. We loved it and would have happily moved in ;-) I found these apartments with the views on trip advisor and certianly recomend it. Owners are really nice and helpful. This hotel had very large, clean rooms, with an immaculate shared bathroom (we stayed in the Rock room). The breakfast was excellent. The owner/staff at the hotel were available whenever we needed them, and provided helpful information on restaurants, sites, and transport. This hotel is in a great area if you're willing to use the trains/buses (or walk) - lots of things to do nearby, and not too far from the major sights. Given the cheap price, this hotel was a bargain.

We are a couple in our late 50s from the South of Sweden, who stayed at this really comfortable guest house for a long weekend in September.
The reviews on TripAdvisor where very helpful and we were not disappointed at all with the standard and location of the guesthouse. The Stars is highly recommended to suit all age groups.

ROOMS – very spacious with comfortable beds and well equipped bathrooms.
LOCATION – A very nice residential , cosmopolitan area with easy walking access to local bars, restaurants. The Stars is located within a very delightful old building (with the original very small lift), that is quite deceiving from the outside as it looks like it is full of offices.
BREAKFAST – The concept of having just one very large table in this light and charming room gave the breakfast time a friendly atmosphere. Everyone say around and chatted and enjoyed the good quality light food available.
SIGHTSEEING - Very easy to get into the city by tube/train a short walk away.

SHOPPING - Only about 20 minutes walk to Berlin's largest department store KaDeWe where there are also many good coffee shops/restaurants to be found around the area.
There is even a very cozy cafe next door which serves very good coffee and light food.

What u see on the pictures is what u get! We had the Chicago room n it was excellent. 5 min walk to Viktoria Luis Plads U bahn. Very quiet residential area. Staff is very helpful to provide tips on where to eat n directions. Room was clean n modern. I'm generally very particular abt bathrooms and this one I had nothing to complain abt.

One suggestion for improvement would be the bed. It was ok to sleep on though.
