the hotel was not bad for the price but the room was not were clean - it is hard to say when the carpet was hoovered but generally it was not bad, the internet was working, the only strange thing was that the reception was open only during the day, in the evening all the employees of the hotel left and the guests had the key to the main door. it was not a problem until everything was all right but the last night we were sleeeping the burglar alarm in the reception swiched on at 3 am. we started to phone the number that were written on the reception door but nobody answered. in that condition we had to wait until 9 am (without sleeping which was impossible) when someone came to prepare a breakfast. after this incident nobody even apologied us.

We spent one week at Hotel-Pension Dafna in March 2008. It was listed as a hotel with free wifi in the rooms and I left a note in the online reservation saying that the free wifi in the rooms was the main reason for us to pick this place.
When we got there, we found out that free wifi is only available on the first floor and there is no one at the reception during the day. The reception is downstairs and the entire first floor is behind a locked door, since Dafna is actually in a building with other tenants. Of course, we got a room on the second floor with no wifi signal and no option to move downstairs.
Since the receptionist was not there during the day, we were unable to go to the "lounge" downstairs, but we could sit on the stairs and got a wifi signal that way.

The rooms were clean, the TV was working. The cleaning lady forgot screwdrivers in the bathroom once, but it seems that she also forgot to replace the towels that had a bad smell. She forgot them not only once, but for the entire stay and there was nobody at the reception to complain. We ended up buying our own towels.

The breakfast was very good though.
