This hotel is adequate in its facilities and has comfortable beds (although terrible pillows), but its location and the quality of its staff means that I would not consider staying at this hotel again. My mother, my friend and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and while it is close to U-bahn and S-bahn stations, the location in relation to places to eat or landmarks etc. is very weak.

The staff was perhaps the biggest let down of this hotel, as not just one, but all staff members I encountered were rude and disinterested. The majority of interactions we had, I was not greeted with genuine eye contact or a smile, rather with dissatisfaction with me (when I would ask to purchase internet for example). Furthermore, we were laughed at when we asked if certain things would be open on New Years Day - turns out they WERE open!

Perhaps if you were not used to staying at hotels and if you were with a large group of young friends this hotel would be worth staying at, but I will be going somewhere else if I come back to Berlin.

My husband and I (from Texas) were delighted to find a hotel so economical in Berlin!!! Our room was 55 Euros per night (the least expensive hotel in our 6-week European vacation). It included a huge breakfast buffet. The hotel is family run and the service was above and beyond what was necessary. Although the room was on the small side, it was totally adequate and super clean. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Berlin. Parking was also free.

We really enjoyed this clean, basic hotel. It was very close to the U/S-bahn station for convenient travel. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The only downside is that we had some car/train traffic noise in our room at night.

Location of hotel is great, in a quiet street 200 m from Gesundbrunnen station (S-bahn + U-bahn) / shopping mall. Staff is friendly, breakfast is good and rooms are basic but clean.
