Clean, clean, clean! Watch out for the crabby night porter (a student who doesn't believe in being overly nice), but otherwise this place is a small gem. Great breakfast!

This hotel was way above our expectations. In a nice part of Berlin and not too far from anywhere (in Charlottenburg). Close to an underground station (Adenauer Pl). The room was large, the beds comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. There was a loverly small balcony overlooking Xantener Strasse. The breakfast was fine and the lady who worked there was very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to people who are looking for something inexpensive (3 nights = EUR240 for three people), friendly and slightly different from the usual generic hotel. I booked this through the Berlin Tourist Information website and it was trouble free. For some reason, the hotel is either written as Lenz or aenz. I haven't been able to work out why.

The Lenz is a nice clean small hotel in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are small and the sound insulation is not perfect, but we found it a good hotel fairly close to the subway and with a typical local bar next door for a few late night beers.

Nothing spectacular, no problems.
