Having stopped at this hotel a couple of times I can say it is clean, value for money and perfectly situated to explore the city. A short walk from a both U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations that give full coverage of the city and outreaches. Very friendly and helpful staff made the visits very pleasant experiences. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Berlin. There are parking spaces but you need to book these seperately.

Clean, good value, reasonable, nice breakfast, parking. A good base for exploring Berlin. Very close to Metro.

The Holiday Inn Express City Center is very conveniently located. It is 5 minutes walk from the metro station and 10 minutes walk from Potsdamer Platz. There is a supermarket just across the street.

The rooms are basic, but the bed is excellent. There is a safe in the room. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful.

The complete breakfast is included in the rate. There is no luxury, like smoked salmon or chocolate croissants, but everything is very tasty.

When we go back to Berlin, probably we are going to stay here again.

Just got back from spending 3 nights in Berlin at the Holiday Inn Express. The reception staff were very friendly and courteous and happy to securely store our luggage until we could check in later in the day. The room itself was fine; fairly basic but did the job for a short break - our bathroom was a wet room style, which some people might not like, but was fine for us though. The rooms were quite warm though and changing the temp/fan settings didn't seem to do much, but it wasn't a major issue.
Breakfast was satisfactory as I knew what to expect; just a selection of meats, cheese and the usual continental stuff, but seeing as it was included with the room and still cheaper than other hotels in the area I was happy.
It's less than a 10 min walk to Potsdamer Platz and to Checkpoint Charlie so is well located and the general area felt safe, if not the most lively.
Overall, a good value for money hotel, well located for exploring Berlin.
