Travelled to Berlin last Jan 2012. It was just a weekend trip - Friday to Sunday, with our 3 small kids. We were given two connecting rooms. Hotel staff is very friendly and accomodating. Room was nice, spacious and comfortable. It has a king size bed and a sofa. They also provides free internet connection and free movies. I also like their toilet ammenities. Though the soap in the shower is not enough and we have to get the soap dispenser from the bath tub. Unfortunately, after the housekeeping, the no refill was done on the soap dispenser on the shower and the other dispenser that we took from the tub was still on the shower floor. Room was not cleaned thoroughly when we came back on Saturday night.
As for the restaurant, breakfast is nice though the pace is small if there is a big group tour. Luckily, we came in just a minute before a big group arrived and we were able to secure a place for us. The food is good even though there is just enough selections. Also, when the breakfast is already close, they provide snacks on the counter for free. They even sell some snacks and drinks on the area beside the reception.
