This hostel was not the best that we stayed at on our Europe trip (or even in Berlin), but it was good enough. I could be fine staying here again but it wouldn't be my first choice. We stayed here because we booked the day of, and it was the best one available (based on TripAdvisor reviews).
Cost - Decent hostel for the money
Service - Average. They were nice but I don't think they'd bother to go out of their way to help out. Definitely a 'you get what you pay for' kind of place.
Wifi / internet - This sucked. We got no service in our room and had to go to the lobby to connect. They did have a few computers in the lobby you could connect to for 10 minutes if needed. The day we checked out the Wifi was down completely - even in the lobby - and when I told them about it they just said 'oh well'.
Rooms - Very small room with a bunk.
Cleanliness - The rooms were clean enough but nothing special. I still slept in my Cocoon liner as an extra layer to protect me from their sheets, pillowcase, and covers.
Bathroom - I didn't feel like it was clean enough for me to walk barefoot, so I even showered with flip flops. And the shower was a pain. It shuts off every 5-10 seconds and you have to push it on again. Maybe it's the hostel's way of saving on water costs but it made for a miserable shower.
Location - Right downtown and a few blocks from a metro station.
