Good value for money in very good location, just across the U-bahn that connects with Tegel airport shuttle bus. Berlin U&S-bahn take you effortlessly across Berlin.

Quiet rooms, some wear and tear visible as expected from hotel with this price range. Great breakfast.

I stayed here for one night on a business trip. My colleague and I needed a hotel located centrally between Tegel Airport and our client's offices. The Mercure was well located for this.
When researching the hotels which my client had recommended, the Mercure seemed to tick most boxes and seemed ideal. I chose the superior room which sounded ideal. On arrival I'm glad that I had done so as the room, to me, was what I would expect from a standard. Small bathroom, poor view, slightly cramped room and a heating system which maintained the room at one permament setting....roasting. As a result I woke twice in the night so didn't have the best night's sleep.
Everything else about the hotel was as expected and the staff, I must say, were certainly helpful and polite. The room was a let down but it served its purpose, especially as it was only for one night.

fantastic location almost on the main avenue - the ku-damm, vert big and clean rooms, quiet all around, very decent pricing.one bus (no. 109) takes you from tegel airport and back to a stop 50 meters away from the hotel for 2.30 euros each way...

Stayed here during a business trip and will stay again on an upcomingtrip. Found the rooms have good beds and are well-equipped, including espresso maker, but rather small and with ho-hum towel quality. Still, the hotel feels modern and well-organized. Buffet breakfast was nice, and they also had gluten-free bread on hand which I always appreciate. Business pet-peeve: cumbersome internet access setup -- have to get access code in the lobby. The hotel is conveniently located in Mitte and there's a U-bahn station less than a block away; plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in the neighbourhood, and plenty more within easy walking distance. Would recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers, but not for a romantic get-away.
