Little to add that hasn't been said, but need to review as an acknowledgement of how well they do it! Lobby, rooms, service, breakfast, lighting, pillows, bed views- really an excellent, professional hotel!

CONs
- The 200 Eur deposit, which the hotel demanded was not nice! Although I know why they expect it, it's just unpleasant to be treated like a "criminal" ana have to pay such a deposit, although we paid cash in advance

This hotel was excellent and I would have given it 5*s were it not for the lack of free (or even reasonable) wifi throughout the hotel. It should be an absolute basic but it is way overpriced, apart from the free wifi in the lobby. Otherwise the beds are sooo comfortable, with a great and it's a perfect location for restaurants, bars, transport & shops. The staff were helpful, friendly and gave us a great upgrade to a Ku'damm view room (although the breakfast staff could do with checking for coffee orders a little more). The breakfast is fantastic and there's loads of it.

Immaculate service, good breakfast and extremely good location. The lobby and the bar - lovely! Very very good value for money compared to other cities, however the interesting architecture doesn't make for good sleep when it's windy outside! I stayed on the 8th floor but was kept awake by people screaming in the street (it was a Wednesday night) AND the wind playing with the geometries of the outside (curved building). The beds are also very hard - Ilike it, but I guess some people might find them a bit on the hard side.

Complimentary Nespresso coffee (every room has a machine) of nice variety was just what I needed when I arrived late in the afternoon. Other from this, most rooms are quite plain for being a five star hotel, but they serve their purpose.
