Landed in Schonefeld at midnight, and didnt want to drag ourself into the city or spend a $250 for this night, so chose this to hit the sack upon arrival. Turned out excellent - the room was clean with TV, bed fairly comfortable, staff helpful, close to a McDonalds where we had breakfast and just across the stree from a train station that took us directly to the heart of Berlin. The transportation is available latenight, so if looking for a budget option in Berlin, I would deffinitely consider this.

This hotel might be a real bargain if you're looking for a good-value spot to stay overnight in Berlin. It is far from the city center but easy accessible; the area it is in is rather all right, the staff is very helpful. A big plus is its proximity to the S-Bahn Adlershof (by the way, the dirtiest and ugliest S-Bahn station I've ever seen in my life - shame on you, tidy Germans!), as well as to several restaurants nearby and a big shopping center (Schöneweide - some 2 km in direction city center).
The minus of the hotel is simply the fact that it is overrated. Regarding the room standard it is a very decent two-star-hotel, but hardly anything more. The beds are all right, the room is spacious enough, as well; nevertheless, the small Nokia-TV, quite ageing furniture, lack of hairdryer and the overall ambient of the hotel (clear signs of its roots in the Erich-Honecker-period) do not allow its official rating to be taken seriously.
To summarize: a good choice for a budget traveller, looking for some clean, but rather basic accomodation.

This was very convenient for arriving quite late into Schoenefeld airport as it's only 3 S-Bahn stops and it's easy to find on a main road. It certainly is 'no frills', but the price reflects that. The worst thing was that it was quite cold at night as the heating was off and the bed covers are inadequate. It's probably fine in the summer!

Good bargain rate hotel.
Positives: 2 blocks to tram stop (20 minutes by tram to downtown Berlin)
McDonalds a 2 minute walk for a good, cheap breakfast
Room was large with big windows.
Free parking behind building for 10 cars; otherwise parking is available on street.

Negatives: Small bathroom
Room was stuffy in August and open window was noisy
