Stayed here for one night as a convenient hotle near the airport. Well it cost about 15 euros in a taxi so it prehaps isnt that convenient.

The room was pleasant enough for a budget room but is below the standard of a travelodge in engalnd - for those reading who are english and require a barometer.

The room did have a major flaw in one respect, hence the bad review; the curtains in the room did not close and were wafer thin. So if you wnat a good night sleep then avoid this place as when the sun rises, so will you!!

Also we asked for a double but only got a twin!

For the modest price that we paid, we didn't have any particular expectations about this hotel, but it managed to give us a pleasant surprise. An impeccably clean, tidy and warm room, bedlinen changed every day, helpful staff at the reception. We also appreciated some small details like a safe in the room. Breakfast is not included in the price, but there is a good inexpensive supermarket just across the road, so it wasn't a problem to get smth to eat in the morning. Rather far from the city centre, but the S-bahn station is 1 min away. On the whole - excellent value for money.

Iron available on request – no ironing board. Had to iron on bed.

Noise form the hall carried into my bedroom.

Breakfast: a visiting school party meant I could not take breakfast.
I requested a reimbursement for the breakfast cost, which the staff obliged.

Basic budget hotel, you get what you pay for.
I would recommend to all those on a budget.

Landed in Schonefeld at midnight, and didnt want to drag ourself into the city or spend a $250 for this night, so chose this to hit the sack upon arrival. Turned out excellent - the room was clean with TV, bed fairly comfortable, staff helpful, close to a McDonalds where we had breakfast and just across the stree from a train station that took us directly to the heart of Berlin. The transportation is available latenight, so if looking for a budget option in Berlin, I would deffinitely consider this.
