What a great hotel Joerg and his team looked after us so well.
The service, location, food and room were all fantastic and we'll definitely be back if we stay in Berlin.
All the staff were excellent and the standard of housekeeping was first class, our room was spotless.
If you go to Berlin you've got to stay here.

Well, the overall judgment is “medium”.
The hotel is undoubtedly located at walking distance from the city centre.
The price is not so high.
The level of cleanliness of the rooms is not standard (I mean, it is below) for a 4-stars hotel.
As far as ethics and socio-cultural aspects are concerned, part of the staff appears somewhat corrupted.

i stayed for one night. the hotel rooms are without aircondition - weird for anything what has four stars in its logo, but i was said by a german friend this is a habit in german capital because "it is cold here." well, it was not in second week of july 2011...
other than this, everything was fine: friendly and helpful staff, rooms a bit weary but carefuly clean, good bed also for a person almost 2 metres long, nice breakfast and surprisingly good cousine overall - i can only recomend early dinner between 6-8pm (half a price!) - or later, because the food i tried was delicious and worth the full price as well...
free internet only in public parts of the hotel, in the rooms you can pay t-mobile / telekom wifi service

Cant speak highly enough of this hotel. Excellent location, friendly & helpful staff, clean & large room facing into the rear courtyard of the hotel. Hotel is right around the corner from checkpoint charlie, berlin wall memorial and a straight walk down the street from Potsdammer Platz. There is an S bahn stop at the end of the street however we found that we could easily walk to most of the sights. We didnt eat at the hotel so cannot comment on food/restaurant. We'll be back here again & will definately stay in the relaxa again
