Central climat system is working loudly, it was necessary to open a window for fresh sleep. Coffee machine (with all functions) is placed in 2nd dining room (hidden), so we were used 1st one with poor coffee drink.

Stayed at this Ibis for 1 night as we were attending a concert at the O2 world ( Germany's finest export.."Rammstein" ) and it's only 10-15 minutes walk away. Simple, basic but comfortable room, met all the requirements. Easy access into the main tourist areas via the s-bahn at the Ostbanhof, 2-3 mins away. Reception staff were very nice and helpful, didn't have the breakfast as we were off to the airport fairly early but looked popular when we passed the breakfast area. As previous reviewers have said the local area is pretty bleak but never felt unsafe returning to the hotel late at night. Supermarkets, snacks and sit down meals all available at the Ostbanhof, East side gallery for the Berlin wall 10-15 mins away (opposite the O2 world), all in all a decent basic low cost hotel, would use again.

I enjoyed my stay at the Ibis Berlin Ost Hotel while attending a Rammstein concert at 02 World just down the street. My room was very comfortable, bright, and clean; the hotel location was perfect for me since it was very close to both the Berlin Ostbahnhof and the music venue. The walk to O2 World was fun since it spanned the majority of the outdoor "East Side Art Gallery" of the old Berlin Wall. It was also a short walk to Alexanderplatz for food and shopping.
