Although the room's price was a lot higher on the hotel's website, we managed to book the room for for 40 eur through ----
There was only one review of the hotel on tripadvisor so we were a bit uncertain about whwt we were getting ourselves into. But when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised.
The hotel (or should I say the appartments building) was about 7 minutes walk from the underground station.
We arrived after midnight so the reception was closed. They have a check in mashine outside the building though where you put in your surname and it gives you your room key. And if you have any trouble there is a direct telephone that connects you with someone who can help. But everything went ok.
The inside of the building is clean, new wallpaper but you can tell this is an old building.
The room was spotless. Wooden floors, new furniture , confortable beds.
The room was big enough, there was a tv,a hi-fi and a telephone plus a plug for our notebook . The kitchen was clean, comfortable and equiped with everything we needed to prepare a meal, pots and pans, glasses, plates, cutlery etc .The was also a coffee maker and a kettle. There are a lot of mini markets around the hotel for our everyday shopping.
The bathroom was new and clean also . A bit small but confortable enough.
We even had our own little balcony.
Bear in mind that this is not a hotel, so the cleaner only comes once a week. There is no breakfast but if you want you can order breakfast to be delivered to your room in the morning for 6,5 eur per person. We never ordered though as we always prepared our own. There is also a laundry service but we never used it.
All in all we had an excellent time. I would definatelly recomend this hotel, especially if you are lucky enough to book it as cheap as we did.
