“Nice Hotel though far from Alexanderplatz”

Stayed here 3 nights on a business trip: decent hotel with adequate rooms and a good service. The Downside: Took the train from the Airport to Alexanderplatz thinking it would be close by … after 15 min of asking around was finally told the hotel is 3 tram stops from the place (have no idea why on earth they would call it “Alexanderplatz”). The Upside: the excellent restaurant which makes one of the best cheeseburgers I have eaten in a while. All in all a pleasant experience.

“Rooms ok, food horrible”

I was in this hotel for a seminar. The staff is nice and there are no complaints. The rooms are clean and spacy, however, in a single rooom, you fin only a small and a somwhat bigger towel ....Tissues were empty.... One can live with that but having dinner at the hotels buffet was just horryfying. A very small selection and a very bad quality. The cheapest supermarket salad, brown, was at least 2 days old. Filled cherry tomatos were decomposed and after this, there was no appetite any longer. So if you just want to have a room for the night, o.k., if you want to have food in the hotel - stay away!!!!

“Clean and comfortable”

Nothing special. Nice staff. Clean room. Right off the tram line. Room certainly big enough for one night. Hotel has those stupid split beds that are all over Europe, and there is no way to lock them in place to keep them from slipping apart.
