This is perhaps a 2- or 3-star hotel, judged from UK standard. The room was spacious but no frills. But staff were all kind and you will receive a good hospitality. We could check in at 8:30 am. They kindly let us print out some stuffs from their computer without charge. There was free bottled water in the room. Breakfast was above 3-star hotel average. Free WiFi. Every small things made us happy during our stay. If you do not have to stay in very central, or are not looking for something fashionable, this is for you.

We booked throught the internett, 2 x 3 bedroomed. The price was affordable (69€ per person breakfast included). Breakfasts were abundant and good. The rooms were clean and spacious, the bathroom was also clean. Free internet for guests. The day before arriving we had one person more coming, and the hotel put an extra-bed in one of the rooms. No problem. 5 min.from the Hermannplatz U-bahn station, U7 and U8. 30-40 min, from airport with public transport (U7+171 or U7+X7). Safe area, although we only walked from the hotel to the U-bahn in the morning and back in the evening. Can absolutely reccomend it and will use it again.

We stayed 3 of us with my colleagues, and as a start-up company we looked for a not expensive but decent hotel. We stayed for 189 euro 3 of us in the room for 2 nights - so with about 30 euro each per night we ended up. For that it was an excellent value: clean, quite, breakfast is good, receptionists are friendly. It had services and look as a 3-4 star hotel, for which we usually pay 80-120 euro in Germany each - without the extras. Surely would stay there again if in Berlin.

Cannot praise highly enough. Unbeatable value for Berlin, spotless, quiet, very friendly and helpful staff, good transport links 50 yards away, airport bus stops round corner. Good breakfast, no restaurant but plenty of places to eat with 100 yards.
