My friend and I stayed in this hotel for four nights. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel offers complimentary wi-fi and breakfast (which is absolutely fantastic!).

The hotel is about 2-3 minutes walk from an u-bahn station and it doesn't take very long to get to the centre of the city from there. Also, there's a huge shopping center near the u-bahn station and lots of bars and restaurants.

Management charges a 80% penalty if check out early. This is absolutely unacceptable for business travelers.

You get great value for money when you book this hotel the rooms are spacious, clean and the breakfast are good.
I think it depends on the weather how you judge the room because there is no air-conditioning I was lucky because there was not heat wave in Berlin when I was staying there.
Only improvements that can be made are getting more English movie channels in TV (only CNN are in English) and new firmer pillows in bed.
I think few guest come to this Hotel to admire the neighborhood and majority of them are sightseeing in the center of Berlin, due to great transport (underground) which is close to the Hotel it is easy to get there (U7 or U8).
If you want to shop in the neighborhood there is big shopping warehouse (Karstad) close to the Hotel and if you go to next underground station (U7 to “Rathaus Neukölln”) there is mini-mall (Neukölln-Arcaden Shopping Centre) and HM. This was my third visit to Berlin in first two I stayed in Kurfurstendam area after this visit I think I recommend first time travelers to Berlin to find hotel in Alexanderplatz area if they can afford it otherwise this Hotel is great choice if you want to save money.

we stayed 1 night in this hotel, very good.
The room wasclear simple quite big, the peronal was frindly and professional, there is free car parking in the place, breakfast is luxury . The position is very good, 15 minutes by bus (number 29) to Check Point Charlie, just near the metro station.
Nice and lively district.
