Have stayed at this location 6 years ago. It was solely chosen because of location and price. Location is brilliant! Stayed there for New Years eve, and I walked from the hotel to the big New Years party in Berlin.

Stayed in room 18 (first floor); a superior single room. The room itself is ok. Nothing special, but not bad either. Clean. The pillows could be better and the bed was somewhat wiggly. This is the first hotel room I have stayed in that had enough electrical outlets!

Did not try the breakfast because there are 3-4 places within 200 meters with serves breakfast. The hotel itself does not provide internet access, but there are one available, but I never managed to connect to it from room 18. But used free Wifi in the morning where I ate breakfast.

We drove by car to this hotel. It was easy to be found and they had a good carparking behind the hotel which cost us only 4 euros a day. the hotel was jugendstil fashioned. The service at the hotel was good. The hotelroom was ok, it had everything we needed to sleep well. The beds where ok not super but ok, the bathroom was good, the tv was very small but we didn't look much tv ;-). The breakfast was ok, also not super but ok. What we really liked was that it was just 2 minutes away from the u-bahn so we were travelling Berlin very fast leaving the hotel and that made our stay very comfortable in a hotel that has everything for a good stay!

I expected more from what I red about the hotel....entrance and bar very poor and small. Staff a lot of smoking outsite the door which was bad in my opinion. The lift entrance outsite I find a minus.
It was a clean hotel that is a plus and breakfast and the situation in Berlin very good.

We found the location and cleanliness superior! Our room was quiet and light. We had easy access to U-Bahn, Bus, City Weihnachtsmaerkte, Europa Center, etc.. The hotel staff was efficient, e.g., cleaning service, and thorough. The breakfast was excellent, and Empfang, Daniel especially, welcoming,and also Herr Eischenau.

Our only problem was the blonde lady who was at check out. Although we had agreeed to 86.Euros @night in communications (DIN rate), I received TWO e-mails before leaving, expressly stating 68. Euros "Fruehstueck inklusiv" . As we had encouraged others in the DIN conference to stay with you, we thought this a new rate for our bringing you business or something. I showed these to the woman, but she was not only abrupt but rude, in contrast to all the other staff at your nice hotel.

She also needed to be reminded twice to order our cab. I told her too every was very nice until the end.
