We were in Berlin to go party at Berghain and around the east. Most of the parties are within a few km of this hotel making it a great launching point. Enjoyed our stay here, the staff was nice, the rooms were clean.

We had no internet access in our room. The hotel provides internet through T-Mobile hotspots and the hotel is not very well wired up. It was a bit annoying to have to go down to use the computer in the reception area everytime we wanted the internet. It also made iPad usage a real problem.

At the price this hotel charges, they really should ensure that all rooms have WiFi...

Stayed in the Innside hotel in August 2011, for 4 nights, specifically booked the hotel for its proximity to the Beer festival which was taking place over the weekend around the corner. The hotel rooms were large and had clean. Pillows left alot to be desired which seem to be the norm for alot of the large German hotels, large square cushions. Once you get over the shower being in the bedroom everything else was great. didnt order room service although the room menu seemed really quite reasonable. The one downside to the room was no tea and coffee making facilities which I have to say i already knew about prior to arrival but would have been a nice touch. Had a few drinks in the hotel bar which seemed to close when ever they were not too busy, which could range from 22.00 to 01.00, staff were all very helpful in both the bar and hotel. The area is not where i would normally stay in Berlin and I have stayed in most of them, there is not a great deal to do there especially at night, although some of the little bars and vans around the station didnt seem to close. Would prob stay there again for the beer festival but will go to other areas of the city on my next visit. Good flea market in the area on Sunday.

First time in Berlin hotel very nice would go back here again staff very nice and helpful train station within 5 Min's walk. Hotel rooms very nice but shower set up a bit strange tho it only bothered my wife. Room large and very clean slept with windows open no noise at all. The Hotel is in a very quiet small road by some open and dark land felt a bit uneasy at first but not unsafe. There are some bars and restaurants close by but they seemed a bit seedy. Hotel bar and restaurant nice but breakfast bit expensive at 19 euros.

No Air Conditioning, Threadbare sheets with holes, Poor Value for the Money, Not a 4 star quality hotel. Isolated location, Strange room set up, with open bathroom inside of the bedroom and overpriced. Do not stay here, there are many other fine choices in Berlin....I mistakenly thought that this was the Melia near the Spree River, which is a good hotel...
