Good location on Ring S-Bahn, easily access to Alexander Platz or another station. Far from center of the city. Room is very simple, not renovated for a long time, old TV in the room was very funny to see, no safe box in the room.

The internet was slow. The location isn't exactly the best either.

We have found this hotel via bidding site and at first we were a bit dissapointed since it was not near center of Berlin. But when we went to Berlin, we have discovered that transportation to the hotel is very easy, and there is tram from Alexanderplatz even at midnight.

Hotel is quite clean and rooms are roomy, and the staff is very helpful when you ask something, even when we could not find a good bar, we came to hotel for a beer and the service was nice. Accross the avenue the hotel stands, there is also Burger King and there are some small cafes that you can get breakfast or meal.

If your will stay at Berlin and don't want to spend much money, you can stay here easily and go to the city center via tram in 10 minutes or so, with a walk of 2 minutes to station at most.

3 good reasons not to book this hotel :

- horrible sewage smell in the room. Was OK the 1st night, berable the second night ... the 3rd night one was feeling like throwing up when walking into the room. I asked to change room but was answered the hotel was full. OK but that did not solve my problem.
- rooms are bland. Old fashion Ikea style furniture
- the hotel is in a suburb in the middle of nowhere

Berlin is a great city. Don't spoil your trip by staying at Park Plaza !

I just wonder how this hotel can advertise 4*. The stays must have fallen from the sky !
