I have stayed at this property with my wife for two nights in May. We have found this hotel to be a great bargain.
The check in was very pleasant. All personnel was extremely polite and helpful. The were eager to answer any questions and accommodate any needs of the guests. Front desk even provided us with AA batteries for our camera at night before we went out to a night club.
The rooms are clean and spacious. the beds are quite comfortable with nice, soft linen and pillows.
There are no safes in the room but all of your valuables can be stored at the front desk. You get to keep the key to your belongings.
The only downside to the hotel is its location. The property is in Neukoln neighborhood, which is a bit out of they way. The locals stated that it is not the nicest or safest of Berlin neighborhoods, but during our stay we did not feel uncomfortable even for a second. The phenomenal public transport in Berlin operates around the clock and you can travel from the hotel to the Mitte in 15 - 45 minutes depending on the time of day or night:)
Overall this hotel is a great find. For the price your really are getting a lot. Highly recommended.

I stayed at this hotel because of the price and the fact my flight got in very late and there was a good bus connection. The bus is very convenient and the hotel is around half an hour so it's handy if you need to be near the airport but close to town. The hotel is set on a very busy main road with nothing around. i didn't like the area at all. The hotel is nice with a big reception, restaurant and bar. The staff were friendly enough. The room was big with a slightly aging decor but nothing disagreeable. Bathroom was clean. The aircon didn't work and I found it very very hot in the room. I opened the window but the awful traffic noise outside was unbearable so I had toi shut the window and deal with the heat. I went to the bar and had a few drinks, it was fine, nothing spercial. I nread previous reviews about getting a free city day pass for the metro but they didn't offer me one. In short, if you are spending three or four days in Berlin this hotel is not a good idea. If ther ear etwo of you remember you will need daily metro passes with cost around £6 each. I checked out the next day and booked another hotel.

For the money I had paid - 66 euro for 2 nights, I guess that was the best hotel I could get in Berlin.

The service: Helpful and friendly, good command of English. I had a dinner at the restaurant where I asked the salad to be without any dressing. It was brought by other waitress and there was dressing. I did not complain, it was not so important to me, but the first one (that got the order) passing by my table saw it and asked me specially if there is dressing inside. As a compensation they brought me a free dessert by my choice. And it was done without any complaints from my side!
The room: Large and clean. Nice design. Huge wardrobe suitable for suites.
The amenities: Satellite TV and other standard amenities. The internet is not free, actually it is expensive. They have a safe paring lot, I'm not sure though if it is free or not.
The food: The breakfast was not included (I had to pay additionally), so I cannot tell you how it is, but as I said I had a dinner at their restaurant and it was really tasty. The price was OK.
The location: Really calm area. A big park is situated near and the air is really fresh. The center is far away, but I don't consider it as a problem because of the perfect Berlin's transportation. A common U-Bahn and S-Bahn station named Neukölln is 10 minutes away with bus. (The bus stop is in front of the hotel) And generally you can reach every point of the city from Neukölln with maximum one change. One of the biggest malls is close to the hotel, but I didn't visit it.

As a resume, I think that the hotel is suitable for all purposes. Business travelers would like the calmness, tourist travelers would like the price.

Hi, we have recently returned from a fab weekend break to Berlin.

We stayed in the Park Hotel Blub, the price was brilliant, really cheap. Granted it is outside the City centre BUT the city centre is HUGE! It's only a 2 minute walk to a bus stop (handy for the airport) and a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station..

The hotel itself was great, my partner and i had a large corner room, so it was light and airy, the facilities were great (no kettle unfortunately) and the bathroom was super, great hot shower, toiletries and towels. Our friends had an inside room, facing the inside of the hotel foyer/restaurant so they didn't have any windos in their bathroom but they were very happy with their room. The beds were comfortable and we were very happy with the accommodation.
Breakfast was lovely, included in our rates, a buffet breakfast with hot bacon and sausages etc etc, the typical German breakfast basically.
Staff were brilliant, very nice, very helpful.

We enjoyed relaxing in the lounge area and in the bar. The reception staff stored our luggage when we checked out so that we could spend a few more hours in the CIty, this was extremely handy as when we returned we picked it up and walked the 2 minutes to the bus stop where we caught the airport bus...!

We all agreed that we would return to this hotel, so would obviously reccommend it to friends and fellow travellers....
