The hotel has a great location in the side street of the Kurfurstendam and a few minute walk to the Zoologischer garten. Also the metrostration is a one minute walk from the hotel. Around the corner are a few clubs where you can go out and at the Kurfurstendam you can take a touringcar for sightseeing in Berlin! The hotel itself was good. Some corridors were a bit stale and the carpet was a bit dirty and old. But the rooms were good and clean. Breakfast was great because it was very extensive. The only small disadvantage I experienced was that the service desk wasn't very helpful and the wifi is very expensive.

Modern hotel in a great location. The decor is a wee bit passed it's best, but nevertheless, this is a clean hotel with adequately serviced rooms.
We booked a business double room, which came with free access to the well stocked business lounge and free wifi - worth the upgrade, for drinks alone (non-alcoholic).
True test-we'll probably be back:)

The best thing about this hotel is the location, close to shops and public transportation as it is near Kurfurstendam. The accomodations are simple and adequate, just fine if you plan on touring the city instead of spending lots of time at the hotel. The service at the front desk was mostly unfriendly and unhelpful though so don't expect four star service there.

The location of the hotel is great because of proximity (300 m) to one of the most central parts of Berlin (Zoologischer Garten). The lobby and the restaurant are nice and look posh on the pictures, but the rooms are quite simple and a bit tired. Our shower stand (no bath tub) was leaking and hotel's carpeting was rather dirty (especially in the hallways).
We took a business-deal room with WiFi included in the price, with breakfasts in a separate room (same food though), and coffee-tea and fruits free of charge all day long.
The staff was helpful although there was nothing special - we didn't get the feeling we were welcome at the hotel. At some point they said that our room wasn't going to be ready by 3 PM in order to check in, but they were still able to provide a room a few minutes before (we arrived at 7 AM and really needed a room already - everywhere else in Berlin we have been able to get a room way before the check-in hour).
Overall - nothing especially positive, but nothing particularly bad either.
