Of the advantages of the hotel - location, hearty breakfast and friendly service at a luncheon, a soft bed. That's it. Deficiencies and much more importantly - for the three months from the time of booking we were not able to provide a minimal request - a smoking room. On arrival we had to pay extra 20 euros per room better komfornosti as rooms booked price range were not available. "Best" comfort us, incidentally, is not found and was horrified to think that the same standard of comfort in the rooms. Rusty plumbing, retro hair dryers, and completely open wardrobe and I demonstrated in the photo.

Stayed four nights. Convenient location. Quite helpful front desk but room smelly since not cleaned or bins emptied whole time.. Left towels in shower for changing, still there at 6pm, so reused. cleaner came in LATER and changed shower mat!
Shower and room need refurbishment. mouldy shower curtain. Pillow lumpy , room very hot, no fan or air con in 30+ deg of heat.
Breakfast OK but no-one in bar probably because so costly 6.50 euros for glass of wine, 50% more than elsewhere.

Good location for a horrible hotel. The hotel is not really clean, prices change every night and the breakfast doesn't worth what it costs! We found expired milk, bread with mold...
We payed EUR 105.- per person and per night but normally it costs EUR 50.- per room.
In Berlin, for the same price it is plenty of better hotels.

This hotel is not all bad but for sure you can find something better in Berlin by the same price. The staff in the front desk is not really friendly and pro-active. The hotel's wifi broke and during all the time I spent in there it was not fixed. Luck me all the Starbucks in Berlin has free wifi connection so I could contact my friends and family back home.
The mattress they use is good but they have the worst pillows ever. The rooms are clean but you can notice the hotel needs to be renewed together the management. Also the hallways are a bitty smelly and seems dirty. Typical from old hotels with bad maintenance.
Some good things: The rooms are big enough. The shower is good but could be better. Great location, near an U-Bahn station and plenty of restaurants nearby.
