The Excelsoir is perfect. the junior suite was well designed and fitted with everything you could need. Hotel staff were extremely helpful. The location is very close to the upmarket shopping district with a fantastic range of places to eat out and a short cab ride from city centre. All round a fantastic experience!!

Just returned from a 2 night stay in the Excelsior. The hotel was very modern and clean in appearance. The staff were friendly at all times and helpful when looking for sightseeing information. The location was great less than 5 minutes walk from the train station which got us all around Berlin and direct to the airport. The bedroom was nice and clean just slightly dated. We didn't like the 2 single beds together used as a double bed. Wifi was free in the reception for 30 minutes per day per room which was useful. Overall good hotel would definitely recommend it!

The location of the Excelsior is excellent just a short walk from Zoo station.There are also a number of good restaurants close by. Check-in was fine and we did not have to queue for check-out as we had paid in advance.The room was o k but not 4 star.We had no tea or coffee facilities and a small bottle of water in the room was 3 euros so we bought our own at the excellent market beside the station(and wine!) The room was clean and quiet as it was at the back of the hotel and towels were replaced each day. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and everything was always topped up which was good it being such a busy restaurant.The rates for the Excelsior vary greatly so look around for the best deal.
