Coffee/Tea making facilities, Shower above bath, clean and tidy.
Beds were extremely soft, too much for my liking, but that’s just a personal preference. No large duvets for the double bed but two smaller separate singal duvets. Strange set-up but still okay.
Staff were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English (actually most of the folk we met in Germany/Poland spoke great English.)
Location is good for shopping, restaurants and the metro. Local supermarket around the corner for drinks and snacks should you not wish to use the vending machine in the hotel.
Not the place for two weeks with the kids but great for a long weekend away.
We decided to use the metro train on a day-pass to get around rather than the bus tours. A little intimidating if you don't speak German but just ask your way and folk are extremely accomodating to help. Start at the East with the Berlin Wall and work your way back jumping off to see the markets, Brandenburg gate and Check-point Charlie. A good day out for the adventurous.
The last day we decided to get a train to Frankfurt (oder) that took an hour. A shortish walk over a bridge took us to Poland where we had lunch, a walk along the river then back a few hours later.
All-in-all, a great weekend away for everything.
