The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was good and filled us up for the day. The bar was very inviting and offered so many different drinks, this was fabulous after a long day of touring Berlin. A little far from the city centre, but the metro service is right around the corner.
Overall, good value for the money.

I stay in this hotel regularly as I am cabin crew and we often stay here. The room is quite nice and the beds are adequatly comfortable, however I have since received some bites which I think may be due to bed mites. Also be aware that you will be charged for wi-fi use in your room and for the tea/coffee/drinks/snacks. I will make sure to ask at reception next time if there is a room with free wi-fi access as I have been told there is.
I also did not find the iron in the ironing room particulary clean. Overall I would say my experience at the hotel was average.

We stayed here 1st - 5th November 2011. Easy check in. Standard room more than adequate and comfortable. Had one small problem, air con not working but Hotel Manager very helpful and upgraded us free of charge to Suite. If you have a problem please speakto the Manager, he can't help if he doesnt know there is a problem, also he is very well informed n Berlin and it's attractions. pool lovely and sauna. Food lovely in hotel resturant. Drinks expensive in bar. Breakfast more than adequate and very fresh. Plenty to eat, more than in most other hotels we have stayed in. One draw back hotel charge 1.5 Euros for tea and coffee in rooms. we didnt use mini bar as expensive. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. smoking rooms available.
I would recommend the hotel changes the carpet at reception as this is quite grubby and stained. This is not a reflection on rooms !! they are very nice ( but doesnt give right impression as you check in!)
The bar area has plenty of comfy seats.
Plenty of maps etc and advice on tourist areas available at reception. Staff could be more friendly and welcoming.
We would certainly go back to this hotel. a bit of a train ride into Berling centre, but we enjoyed being on outskirts, although this may be a problem for some people.

I Visited Holiday Inn Berlin City-West in the month of March 2011, I chose this hotel because of its proximity to Siemens. For a business trip this place is quite comfortable, rooms were quite big and clean at the same time totally in line with the rest of the hotels of this chain... Breakfast they served was very good. This place is just 5 mins away for U-bahn station so ur connectivity to the city centre is no issue. Friendly staff is an added bonus......... Thumbs up keep up the good work........
