Just came back from spending a night here,Don't bother to go very over priced at 130euros.Tiny corner room(of which there are at least 8)1 small original piece of art which was falling off the wall,shabby wardrobe(not chic)2 broken knobs on it, two dining chairs 1950's formica coffee table. Towels were hard and off white.Squashed flies on wall.The room was supposed to be tranquill overlooking the courtyard, this is not the case every echo can be heard, most of the other buildings in the courtyard are empty or been worked on with builders in lots of sawing and banging. Breakfast is definately not unique no different from any other hotel and no hot food.Staff curt like the growly dog in reception. I don't know where the pictures come from for their advertisement we were expecting something really nice and a bit different.The only good thing going is the location centre of Mitte.

My husband and I spent 3 nights here in June and found it peaceful and very well situated for sightseeing. Christiane was charming and helpful. Breakfast was one of the tastiest we've experienced. Our room was cool and comfortable. We look forward to a return visit.

I spent 4 nights at the MitArt, and would not return. Despite a terrific location, my room was miserable - small, cramped and lacking basic facilities. The famed 'organic breakfast' was very ordinary and I found the overall experience to be most disappointing.

What a fantastic hotel. We stayed for 2 nights in the middle of the world cup, and despite it being cental in the Mitte district of Berlin, MitArt was a haven of peace and quiet. We stayed in a large stylish room, original artwork on the walls, floor to ceiling windows - it was like sleeping in a modern art gallery! Christiane was a gracious and discreet host. Our flight home was not until 9pm and whereas most chain hotels would require you to checkout strictly on time, Christiane was happy for us to keep the room until we needed to leave, at no extra cost. The organic buffet breakfast was fantastic, and again added to the unique experience. The whole hotel was clean and modern, with great attention to detail. I have already recommended MitArt to all my family and friends and would certainly stay there again.
