I was there in October 2011 for two days. The rooms are fine, clean, and quiet. I was travelling alone and for 65 Euros I had a double bed, a sufficiently large bathroom (with shower) and a large desk. The breakfast is expensive (14 Euros) but the buffet is diverse and rather complete, albeit lonely, very few people took it as there are lost of cafés and restaurants around. The tram stop is in front of the hotel and from the airport Tegel it takes about 45 minutes to get to the hotel. The hotel is basic but convenient.

What can be said about this place? It’s boring, ugly, the rooms are tiny and stuffy! Open the windows for some fresh air and you can see the parking lot of a shop, and see and hear the landing planes very close by. The planes are so close, it’s scary. So, it’s back to closed windows and curtains and stuffy room!
The restaurant food is very basic, nothing special. Buffet breakfast was adequate.
I paid for internet connection and ended up getting a refund, as it was too slow, hard to connect and I had a bus to catch.
I have to thank the desk staff for mailing my postcards, which arrived safely.

super hotel for the travellers who go or arrive by plane in Tegel. Staff friendly and helful. Strange system of parking. Good food - nice idea of dinner buffet. Breakfast also OK. Many thanks to the waitress and kitchen staff for amusing our little son. Unfortunatelly we heart the noise from the airport - its good that the rush hour is 12-15:00! But on the other side - you have great opportunity to see so many planes so close to you - sometimes we had an idea that we can reach them just by rising the hand!

Sound proof windows block all the noise from the airport. Perfect location for getting in and out of Berlin. There's a supermarket around the corner and a metro stop on the next block.
