the local is clean, friendly and has a good price. the breakfast was nice, delicious.... and the people who works there is friendly, really nice people. the local is close from main atractions of the city and so close from rail station, just 2 minutes walking. Me and my wife have spended 3 nigths there last june and just one little problem: the manager lost my insulin (i am diabetic) that he took with me to keep in refrigerator. Inspite he told me that he could pay for another one if i must buy, when i send to him the bill wiht fax and email he never had answer to me untill now (december, 2006). But, this little problem do not me hide that the place is nice, the people, including the Manager, was so nice and friendly. I really loved that place, that people there, and the city. I hope to come back there one day again.

It's right next to the train station and historic city centre of Wurzburg. Everything is within walking distance. The rooms are simple but nice and clean and although it's next to a big street and the train ist just accross, I had a quiet room and a good nights sleep. The breakfast in the morning was in a lovely breakfast room and I felt at home with the friendly hosts there. I'd definitely recommend it to everyone, especially if you're travelling on the train.

Excellent value for the cost when simplicity is not an issue. We'd recommend to friends and family.

Our room here was simple but clean - in fact the bedding/mattresses gave us the best night of sleep on our whole trip. Our room had a shared shower/bathroom that was not problematic in terms of cleanliness or convenience. Our German-style breakfast was also one of the best on the trip -- great coffee, eggs, meats, etc - wunderbar. The proprietor was very helpful in terms of restaurant suggestions and what to see (we were there just one night passing through to a longer term destination so we hadn't done much advance research).

There were only two slight challenges here: 1) The Pension is in an apartment building and perhaps because of that the signage was very small so we had to circle the block with one of us getting out of the car and walking to locate the premises. We knew it was supposed to be across from the Railway station, which it was. Once you find the right building, you simply ring to be admitted. 2) There is no elevator to reach the Pension on the first level above ground level. The door to the Pension on that level is unmarked but its right at the top of the stairs.
